Courses 19 Different Courses offered through TEC 14 Undergraduate & 5 Graduate 3 specific for LLC students Focus of courses: Overview of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Guest Lectures Projects Legal, Marketing, Finance, Venture-Funded Startups ~1,000 students take courses annually

PROGRAMS ~5,000 student participants annually SocialFuse (March TBD) a pitching and networking event that brings students, faculty and community together and fuses them through skills, ideas, and entrepreneurial ambition Illinois Innovation Prize (Nominations due Feb 14th) awarded on an annual basis to the most innovative student on campus Cozad New Venture Competition (Intent to Compete Due Feb 7th) designed to encourage students to create new businesses and offers teams assistance in the form of mentors to help guide them through the phases of venture creation, workshops to help with idea validation, pitching skills

COZAD NEW VENTURE COMPETITION 2015-2016 16th year; Campus-wide Historically ~$160K in FUNDING and prizes Spans 4 months 2015 winners: PSYONIC & FlipWord TEC’s flagship Program: I list our sponsors from last year because it really is a community effort. Proud to note that most of the student companies and alumni panel companies participated and won awards in the Cozad New Venture Competition. And they are still here in Illinois. OrangeQC, StudyCloud, PrintECO, Oso Technologies, Cellular Diagnostics, Microlution, and Servabo are all here today. Again thanks for those groups here today that have participated in the past that have made it possible – like Joe Jablonski and WeGather, Origin Ventures, IllinoisVentures, HydePark Venture Partners, Lightbank, ITA, and TechNexus.
