Chapter 18 Impacts of Globalization on Groups in Society Chapter Issue: To what extent does globalization empower individuals and groups in society?

Children and Youth: Challenges and Opportunities How many of you have ever been in a situation where you felt insecure and unsure of your surroundings? Give me some examples How many of you have ever been in a situation where your basic rights and protections have either been taken away or challenged? How would you react in a situation like that?

Impacts of war on Children and Youth Child Labor – Still around? Look at the excerpts on pg 299, what are these newspaper clips highlighting?
