Who We Are? A team of highly trained and certified staff and students who provide desktop support for our customers. We pride ourselves in providing timely and friendly customer service to help support the mission of the University. We provide a standard workstation build which holds a basic set of software that is thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be compatible with the University enterprise information systems.  

Benefits of Being a Managed Workstation Customer Priority Support – Skip the lines, get straight to a specialized tech. Stable, secure environment Our image is regularly audited by the security team. All updates tested for at least one week before pushing to customers. Over 200 applications readily available for install either from self service options or by submitting a help.unm ticket. New applications available upon request. Highly trained technical advice Our staff has industry experience, many industry certifications and advanced degrees. We’re here to help. Let us know your pain points and we’ll be happy to work with you to find a better way, no matter your constraints.  

What We Support The Workstation Management team is trained to respond to a variety of desktop support issues. We are available to assist with the following problems:  · Desktop Performance Issues · UNM Enterprise Application Suite · Network File Sharing Issues · Printing Issues · Web browser Issues  

Services Our service is based on standardization and guaranteed compatibility with UNM enterprise applications. We provide remote support to our customers through the use of a tool called ITRescue. With your consent, this program allows us to remotely view and interact with your computer to help resolve a variety of issues. Support for highly specialized applications, configurations, or personalization may incur additional charges. We will notify you if the work is beyond our normal scope before any charges are made. In order for us to better serve you, we ask that all service requests are submitted as Help.UNM tickets.
