The Process Tap into the students Focus Group, Student Ambassadors & Library Staff Thought a lot about the name and the concept Importance of a symbiotic relationship We could have surveyed students, picked something they “wanted”, however, we wholeheartedly wanted to work with students on it The competition, therefore, is an alignment of both our desire to innovate and a commitment to engage directly with our student audience.
The Process Work with resources we already had on campus The workshop was invaluable and helped students strengthen their pitch and articulate their ideas Students’ Union supported the initiative Panel Lorna Dodd, MU; Dillon Grace, President MSU; Cathal McCauley, MU; Dr Alison Hood, Dean of Teaching and Learning MU; Dr Sandra Collins, Director, National Library Workshop with Dr Peter Robbins was an invaluable experience for students – presentation skills/business pitch
