Victim Services We are a universal victim support service with specialist trained volunteers and staff. We run a Specialist Young Witness Service in both Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Our service is free and confidential

Who do we accept referrals from? Please remember that you do not have to report a crime to refer to us. We accept referrals from: Victims directly Third parties Police

What do victims want? Victim support commissioned some research “Think Britain” to find out: 89% of victims were satisfied with VS 40% of crimes go unreported 61% of victims said that the crime had a notable impact on their lives 87% Victims want to talk and to be heard

National Victim Support Impact Report 2014/2015 Helped 155,305 people to cope and recover from crime 70,260 face to face meetings 297,521 telephone support calls 94% of victims were satisfied with the support we gave them 85% felt we reduced the impact of the crime on their health and wellbeing www.victimsupport.org.uk
