Head of the department have some specific powers in their accounts, e.g. Faculty profile editing Main Departmental Pages Editing Post announcements

Open website: http://hngu.ac.in
Login by using username and password in the following login box
Click on Academics and then Faculty directory Click on Faculty directory
Click on respective full name Find your name by scrolling up-down and click over the full name of person. e.g.:here name of facultyis “webmaster”, so click on the full name of webmaster Click on respective full name
Next page will be opened with edit menu just below the page title Click on edit menu Click on edit
Fill/edit the form details into the opened webform Please write your full name in Remarks Tab
Fill all the fields including,
Click on Save button at the end of the whole page and save your edited Faculty profile

Explorer respective department by entering to Academics Department and centers Respective Department
e.g. to change the content of the Department of life Sciences Explore the department website If you are logged in then, these both menu will appear
e.g. to change the content of the Department of life Sciences Explore the department website Step: 2 Click on the edit link and edit the content of the page. After editing, Don’t forget to click on “Save” at the bottom of the page Step: 1 Click on the page link in which correction should be done
Precaution: Don’t change the Title and Department of your interested Webpages Change the content of your Page and Finally click on “Save” button at the bottom of the page
Click on Save button at the end of the whole page and save your edited Faculty profile Then reopen the website and explore your department as shown above slides.
3 Post announcements

To post the announcement at departmental website please follow the tutorial Step: 1 Click on the Create content edit link Step: 2 Click on the Create content Announcement link
Step: 1 Add title of the announcement, as shortest as possible Step: 2 Select the Department Please don’t make mistake regarding the announcement. It causes to much problem in the portal Step: 3 Add details of the Announcement Step: 4 If any attachment is found then upload the file Save the announcement by clicking to the “Save” link at the bottom of the page
Newly saved announcement will be displayed on your respective departmental website main page
Be careful to post announcement and other materials to be added on the portal.
