Memories of the Dominican Republic 2010 By: Raya McDonald I travelled to the Dominican Republic and have had some experiences that will be life long memories.

On the Plane I took a trip to the dominican republic in February of 2010. I went with my Cousin, Shyann and my Aunt, Colleen.

Our Hotel We stayed at the Iberostar Costa Dorada in Puerto Plata.

The Pool The pool at this resort was amazing. It was so big. It also had endless beach chairs around it.

The Resort The resort was absolutely beautiful. There were millions of palm trees and countless flowers around the property. This resort was a beach front property and they also had palapas (huts) to sit under.

Nightly Shows At this resort they provided nightly entertainment for the guests. One show we watched was called The Las Vegas Show and another was The Black Light Show.

Ocean World We took a day trip to a place called Ocean World. It reminded me of Sea World. There were many activities to do. We swam with dolphins and also went snorkelling. The staff also put on many shows throughout the day. There were also bird sanctuaries where you could go into a cage with love bird, toucans and parrots.

Ziplining On our last day in the Dominican we went ziplining. You glide along a wire while wearing a climbing harness. There were about 40 people who went and we went far out into the country up winding roads.

These are the memories I will remember I hope you have enjoyed my experience of the Dominican Republic. I hope you have enjoyed some of my favourite memories.
