Tour of Military Training Installation Workshop Objectives & Outcomes The Installation Tour is a multi-day capstone event to reinforce and bring to life topics taught in the previous workshop sessions by allowing participants to experience “a day in the life” of our military in a training environment. In addition to observing first- hand how the military trains servicemen and women, participants will experience various aspects of military quality of life programs.

Sample Educator Tour Activities Tour of Military Training Installation Sample Educator Tour Activities Observe soldiers during Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Dine with soldiers in military dining facility Interact with military leaders Observe and/or participate in confidence training (hands-on activity) Observe and/or participate in simulation training (hands-on activity) Tour soldiers’ barracks and family housing community Tour morale, welfare, and recreation facilities (childcare, youth centers, etc.) Briefing and/or tour of medical facilities Tour academic/classroom facilities Attend AIT graduation ceremony
