Characteristics of Living Organisms Is fire alive? Does it do the following?

Organization Organization – Having orderly structure of the body. (Special parts that do specific things) ex. Human body has cells, tissues, organs, systems. (organisms are multi-cellular or unicellular)

Reproduce Reproduce- Organisms make more living things or produce offspring. Organisms can do this sexually or asexually.

Grow Growth- Organisms gain living matter, develop new parts or change during their lives.

React React or respond to stimuli (stimuli are things like: heat, chemicals, motion) They react in order to maintain homeostasis or the same bodily state (like sweating or running a fever)

Adapt Adapt to their environment through changing of behavioral or physical traits over time (falcons nesting on building ledges)
