Dwell looks at contemporary culture through the lens of architecture. Dwell Media consists of a content-driven magazine, website and trade show focused on modern architecture and lifestyle, in particular residential architecture. Mission: “To demonstrate that a modern house is a comfortable one. That today's best architects are able to fashion environments that are at once of the moment and welcoming. And the only way we know to demonstrate that a home is truly livable is to show it as it is lived in” - Karrie Jacobs Audience: Dwell reaches a desirable and largely untapped demographic of affluent, professional, well-educated readers

My Experience I chose to do marketing because I wanted to learn more about the business end of the design world. I quickly learned that I am far more interested in the creative and editorial side of publishing. Dwell was a really unique experience because I was able to see how a design publication speaks to its readers, a very passionate and informed audience, not only through print, but also through the website and trade show.
The Best Part One of the things that I loved most about working at Dwell was the exposure that it gave me to a variety of design galleries, blogs, and books that I may never have found on my own.
