Mission Trips Self Over Service (SOS) – Memphis, TN – June 9-16

Mission Trips - SOS ”Things to Bring List” – 1st page of packet

Mission Trips - SOS Itinerary - Arrive by 11am to leave. - Spend night at Calvary UMC (Nashville, TN) - Arrive at SOS on Sunday by 4pm -Drive straight home on next Saturday, home by 8pm (maybe earlier). Call in Cincinnati to give accurate pick-up time! - Half day Wednesday - Bring money for food

Mission Trips - SOS SOS Teams & Projects: - 5 work teams - You can REQUEST ONE friend - No significant others - Emphasis is on relationship -Follow their rules (they have a specific way of doing things) and do good work - Be flexible… get out of your comfort zone!

Mission Trips - SOS Expectations: - No PDA - No Pranks - No Practical jokes - Represent Jesus and our church - We set the bar high for behavior, regardless if other churches are following the rules and expectations!

How to Pay for Events All payments and forms must be submitted to the church office. Outside office hours, they may be put in the drop slot outside the front of the office. All payments must be given to the Financial Secretary, Carol Reed – please do not hand to Mark. Make sure to put in the Memo your student name and event name. If cash, please attach a paper with name and event. Also, create an E-Giving account on www.marysvillefumc.org and mark it for the event itself.

Digital Medical Release We need all families to fill one of these Medical Release Forms out which are good for one year. They are located on our youth website (www.quakeyouth.org), in the Mail Chimp email in the left column, or going to https:/secure.symt.us/client/quakeyouth and selecting an event.
