TEAMWORK

Think – Pair – Share Brainstorm as many teams as possible. Jot them down on your marker board.

Team Expectations: G ive thoughtful feedback R espect others O n task all the time U se soft voices P articipate actively S tay with your group

Team Jobs: FYI- There are times when not every single job is necessary and other times when students will have more than one job.) leader time keeper recorder reporter information gatherer

Leader: gets the team focused makes sure that every person is heard makes sure every team member is helping

Time Keeper: encourages the team to stay on task announces when time is halfway up and nearly up makes sure that the team is completing all parts of the assignment

Recorder: writes the team’s ideas on paper writes on the board for the entire class to see during presentations

Reporter: talks to the entire class about the team’s finished work during presentations

Information Gatherer: checks sources to gather information

Let’s Try It Work with your teammates to complete ONE picture using several puzzle pieces. Each team member must complete an equal number of puzzle pieces individually. You must work together to create a plan before beginning and communicate with each other to carry it out successfully. I can’t wait to see what your team creates!
