Carmel Greyhound Football IMMEDIATE ITEMS 1. Physical/Consent forms need to be completed and submitted to the athletics office BEFORE June 18th 2. CFPC online registration / Profile TONIGHT 3. Order practice pack (shorts/shirt/practice jersey) online by April 26th 4. Athletes need to get head and shoulders measured for equipment during one of the 6 powerschool camp sessions.
Carmel Greyhound Football Summer Workout Schedule Freshman Team Camp: M-TH June 18-21 from 2 pm to 6 pm $90 This is our introductory football camp for our incoming freshman class. Offensive and Defensive drill work and schemes will be the main focus. (participants will receive a camp t-shirt) Summer Weightlifting/Drill Work: June 26 and 28 ( shorts/t shirts/helmets/shoulder pads/cleats)– July 10, 12, 17, 19 (from 6 to 8:30 am – no charge) weightlifting, speed/agility work/on the field drills Moratorium Weeks: June 3rd -June 9th, July 1st -7th, July 22nd-28th These are the weeks where there will be no football activities scheduled. We do this for the sake of families having flexibility for vacation plans. The IHSAA mandates one week without activities but we believe that is insufficient. We will make the most out of our time together this summer and plan to be better prepared than our opponents in 2018.

Carmel Greyhound Football COMMUNICATION – All absences and late arrivals need to be communicated by the student and parent PRIOR to that moment. If an emergency or mistake has occurred, the player must text or call their position coach immediately. We will use the ‘remind’ app for a large portion of our communication. Carmel Greyhound Football Parent-Coach Meetings - Meetings must be set up in advance - We will NOT discuss individual playing time - We WILL discuss what your athlete can do to improve - We will not discuss any other athletes with you. - Parents are not allowed in the locker room at any time.

PE II Waiver In order to get the PE II Waiver, players must finish season in good standing with the team and participate in a minimum of 60% of team activities. This includes attendance at all team events. Two unexcused absences may result in dismissal from the team.
