The Pre-K program follows the regular school calendar.

School Attendance is Important. We want your child to develop good work habits – being on time and attending school each day will establish a good routine that will last a lifetime. *

Please call if your child will be absent from school. If you don’t call, our secretary or the auto call system will call you.

Privacy Guidelines A teacher may only discuss a child with the student’s parent/guardian. If there is not a legal document in our files, both parents have the same rights concerning all aspects of their child. A visitor must check in at the front office and receive a visitor’s pass before they will be allowed to enter the hallways.

Drop off time starts at 7:55 and ends at 8:10 Drop off time starts at 7:55 and ends at 8:10. Drop off takes 15-20 minutes to unload ~80 students. We will start the routine the first day. If you want to take pictures bring your cameras to Open House. 10

When Arriving At School Enter at the North entrance Form 2 lanes, drive around the school. Take turns merging. A staff member will remove your child from the car and walk him/her into the building. Car seat on Right side (Safety) Once inside, your child will sit with the other classmates. They are closely supervised by school staff. Your child’s teacher will walk the children to the classroom and begin the daily routines.

Be Alert in this area Children’s safety is very important! Drive slowly and cautiously. Please Do Not Talk or Text On CELL PHONES in This Area. If a dog is in the car make sure it is secure.

If your child is late arriving at school… Park your car. Walk student into the building. Sign your child in.

Late Pickup Parent/Guardian MUST come inside and sign child out. At 30 minutes, law considers abandoned child and we are required to report.

When picking your child up… clearly display your white card on passenger side or hanging from rearview mirror. Please remain in your car. The teacher will load your child into the car and buckle the seat belt.

Checking Students Out Early Bring your white CARD in with you. You must scan your ID and sign your child out on the SchoolSafe Console.. If you don’t have your white card, you will be asked to show ID or give your child’s password. *

If You Forget Your Card Park your car. Go to the office reception area. Show your I.D. or give your password. Child will then be released to you. *****Only those whose name is on the Simply For Safety Sheet may pick up children. I.D. must be shown or Password given.*****

IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY What is an emergency? Park Bring your white card into the office or show identification or give password. You must sign your child out on the SchoolSafeID console. This is for the safety of all concerned during the pickup time. (It is safer and better for all involved if you go through the pickup line). *

Severe Weather In The Event Of Severe Weather: Doors Locked Students in FEMA-Rated Shelter Doors Unlocked After The Threat Has Passed. You may check your child out early or keep them home with an excused absence on high risk weather days (this is typically only once or twice a year). *

DAYCARE White Card – No Card – No Child Schedule – Copy to your child’s teacher and to Ms. Dana. Any Change in Daycare – Written notice prior to change. Last Minute Pickup – Call the front office prior to pickup time – 10:45 A.M.
