Where do I Look to Develop Relationships? Community music organizations Check your bulletin board for ideas…who is advertising there? Do you advertise in concert programs? Do you provide goods and services for schools? Who is your existing customer base?
Organizations to Look Into
It isn’t enough to pay a membership fee, you need to BE a member! Find the right person in your store to be the one that develops the relationship- It may be YOU YOU MUST ATTEND THE MEETINGS Join as an individual, not just as a business (individuals get access to addresses and emails of members) Volunteer for committees that make SENSE Offer to bring customer orders to the meetings Donate gift cards or items for fund raisers If the group sponsors educational sessions, sign up to give one Attend/exhibit at their conferences
