What happened in Spain last week? Watch me Last week an illegal vote took place in Barcelona to allow them to become independent of the Spanish government. What referendum was held in the UK and what was the result? Was it the right result? Should the Catalonian people be allowed independence? What problems may there be with this?

This week is European democracy week. What are the problems with living in a democracy?

This week you have a chance to take part in a democratic vote. Youth Mayor elections are on Thursday and there will be voting booths in school. One of our own sixth form students, Ebony Maddison is running for youth mayor. Make sure you get your say!!
