Any participating Bowler completing the Declaration of Eligibility for County recognition WILL be considered for County representation using the following criteria - your TOTAL SCRATCH PINFALL bowled over all five (5) games of this event will be used to establish an Order of Merit, thereafter up to fifteen players will be registered for the participating teams. See Rules 13 to 16 over for additional information. PLEASE RETAIN THIS PAGE FOR DETAILS AND RULES Essex Inter-County Roll-Offs 2018 All Essex County Roll-Off events will be held concurrently in the same venue using identical formats. Please read all of this document to understand how this will work. The Best of Five Tournament to determine YAC, Adult and Senior Squads will now accommodate Junior Bowlers too; to participate in this tournament a Junior must have a current BTBA Standard Membership Card. NOTE: This is a Re-entry event which includes a Prize Fund element which does (unfortunately) increase the Entry Fee. To facilitate Junior participation in the BTBA Inter-Counties there will also be a Junior Roll-Off event which requires only a current BTBA Junior Membership Card. NOTE: There is no Prize Fund here and we have negotiated a lower lineage rate for this strictly junior event to make it more available to the youngsters. NOTE: Inter-County Rankings: Everyone will bowl five (5) games to establish their Inter-County Ranking in their appropriate Division. Because the Best of Five is re-entry, and because a Junior could elect to bowl in both events a Bowlers' first five game score in either of these two events shall be the only score used for ranking. The determination of the Squads registered shall be in strict accordance with current Inter-County Rules. "Before, during, and after the event there could be photography, filming or video taken of participants and medal winners by anyone attending the event, either as an official, spectator, parent or guardian. If you (as a participant, parent or guardian) object to this, you must make your objections known to the tournament manager prior to the event starting and reasonable adjustments will be made." PLEASE REGISTER AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE SQUAD TIME NO PLACES WILL BE HELD WITHOUT A COMPLETED ENTRY FORM & PAYMENT ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY) WITH COMPLETED ENTRYFORM AND CASH ENTRY FEE – THE ENTRY FORM MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE 9.30
