Biography Of Baba Ram Dev

Baba Ram Dev Name - Ramkishan Yadav known as Baba Ramdev or Swami Ramdev. Parents name - Gulab Devi and Ram Nivas Yadav Birth Year – 1965 Birth Place - Ali Saiyad Pur village of Mahendragarh district in Haryana state of India. Education – 8th Standard  

He was born as Ram Krishna Yadav to Gulab Devi and Ram Nivas Yadav in Ali Saiyad Pur village of Mahendragarh district in Haryana in 1965. Because of family conditions he left school after Class 8 and joined a gurukul in Haryana to study Sanskrit and yoga under Acharya Pradumn . He meditated for five years in the Himalayas in his 20s. Freedom fighters Ram Prasad Bismila and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose are known to be his role models.

His Journey Swami Ramdev establish the divya yoga mandir in 1995. In 2003, Aastha TV began featuring him in its morning yoga slot. His TV program is broadcast in several countries. The New York Times called him "an Indian, who built Yoga Empire”

Contribution Baba Ramdev has also been an active social worker. In spite of helping people retain optimal health and vitality, he has also worked towards social causes. He was recently in highlights for his non-violent fight against corruption in India. He protested against corruption through a peaceful fast supporting the Lokpal bill. He also initiated a movement called "Bharat Swabhiman" to maintain and bring back the true pride of India. He believes in vegetarianism and promotes it to his followers for a healthy life.

His efforts of spreading Yoga on mass scale are highly appreciated due to health improvements through Yoga are faster, cheaper and natural than any other method. Today, there are lots of people with Baba Ramdev, but Swami Shankar Dev, Acharya Balkrishna and Swami Muktanand contributions are much appreciated.

Baba Ram Dev have proved that traditional health and treatment practices can provide better results if one believes and practice it in his daily life. His way of marketing his brand is unique compared to other Yoga Guru’s and aurvedic doctors. He has used modern marketing practices that help his brand in building a strong market reputation and millions of followers all over the world.

He recently did fast against corruption. Message Spread Ramdev's Big Fast against politicians and the system was already beginning to flounder, so it seemed. He recently did fast against corruption. He peacefully did the Anshan against corruption.

Y. Patil, Deemed University. January 2011 – Honored with Sri Chandrashekharendra Saraswati National Eminence Award by Maharashtra Governor K. Shankaranarayanan.
