Packaging Pell: What is the Right Way?

Packaging Students AIDE/SATP Additional Pell Flag needs to be set to YES Pell Payment needs to set to YES BAPU – Batch Addl Pell Flag Update This form can be used to batch update the Additional Pell Flag BUSA – Batch Update Student ATP Values This form will update the attendance patterns and update the Pell Payment Flag for a particular term.

BAWD – Batch Awarding User Screen If you plan to use BAWD, this form will look at the subroutine and award those students who are eligible based on the updates to SATP and the students enrollment eligibility.

Reports

APER – Addl Pell Eligibility Report Recommend running the report with all terms Identifies why student is eligible/ineligible Eligibility will be based on the timing of when the report is generated. PCOR – Addl Pell Crossover Report Determins which academic year to assign a crossover award period for a particular student. A crossover award period spans two academic years and includes both June 30 and July 1. According to U.S. Department of Education regulations, this award period must be assigned to the academic year in which it would be most beneficial for the student to receive additional Pell funds.

PLEU - Pell Lifetime Eligibility Used The PLEU process identifies students that are close to or have exceeded their Lifetime eligibility for Pell. PEVR - Pell Eligibility Variance The report evaluates the differences between the Pell amount you have awarded a student and the current calculated Pell entitlement based on the student’s current enrollment. PCRR – Pell COD Reject Report This report finds the Pell reject responses received from the COD system. The process scans all imported Pell records that meet the search criteria you enter on PCRR, and reports on any rejected awards or disbursements that it finds.
