Focused workshop funds, to build relationships and formulate shared research agendas – up to £10,000. Small project funds up to £50,000. Money to be spent by 31st of July 2018. Deadline – asap.

Is there a development need that this project or activity will address? How would this project or activity be applied in the country? What would the impact of my project or activity be, and who would benefit? How does my project or activity contribute to sustainable development? Africa Prize RAE Encourages talented sub- Saharan African engineers, from all disciplines, to develop local solutions to challenges in their communities.
Africa Prize RAE The winner will receive £25,000, and three runners-up with receive £10,000 each. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must have developed (or co-developed), or be in the process of developing (or co-developing) a new technological innovation. Applicants should have the ambition to take a leading role in creating a new business to commercialise this innovation. The submission deadline is 4pm GMT on 23 July 2018.
