Presentation transcript:

And so begins the strange story of Victor Frankenstein…… but it is up to you to create at least three frames of picture and text telling what happens after one of these three scenes in your reading.

The Creation of the Monster

Describe what happens when Victor sees the Monster for the first time….

Victor gets notice of his brother’s murder

Describe Victor’s encounter with the Monster at the place of his brother’s murder…. What does he say? Etc.

The Monster and the Blind man

Describe the encounter between the blind man and the Monster (see Frankenstein Poem) …. Or Describe what happens when the other villagers get home.

The Monster and the Young Boy

Describe the Monster’s encounter with the young boy….

Victor Frankenstein’s Death

In the final scenes the Ship Captain meets the Monster and confronts him about his responsibility in Victor’s death…decribe what happens….

Here is a brief set up of how you could create your comic book page or pages… First figure out how much you want to describe… not everything needs to be described in words… some could be summed up in pictures. Write a brief “script” of what is going to be described in your page.

Transform that script into a sketchy rough draft of your completed page… like so. This is the rough draft of the Creation of the Monster scene….

After you have finished your rough draft and know what you want to draw and write create a good copy… Have fun!
