Videos should be no more than 20-30 seconds in length Make sure to use high resolution photos when choosing images to import into your template.  1) Use Google advanced image search : https://www.google.com/advanced_image_search Choose image size “Large” or “Larger” than 1024x768 Choose your text and background color combinations wisely. Use colors that complimentary and are easy to read depending on the background color chosen.

Text should be easily visible at a reasonable distance from the sign.   Backgrounds should contrast with foregrounds. Avoid neon-colored backgrounds.  Font sizes should be large, especially for your main messages. To test size, create a test screen with lines of different font sizes and have people view the screen at the farthest practical distance.  Serif fonts work well for longer text passages. Statements should be fairly short because digital signs are the wrong medium for paragraphs of text.
