Emmaus Youth Village Allensford Year 4 Residential Emmaus Youth Village Allensford

Where The Emmaus Youth village is set in a beautiful location in the hills around Allensford, County Durham. Children will be in two cottages with all the mod cons. They will have to share single sex rooms. They will have all meals provided and eat in the refectory.

When We will leave at approx. 9:30 on Monday 5th June. We will arrive at the Youth village at approx. 10:30am We will leave the Youth village at approx 2:30 pm on Wednesday 6th June. We will arrive back at school at approx 3:30

What will we do? Activities may include art, design, music, dance, nature walk and prayer. All activities will be led by the staff at the village.

Who will be going? All children are invited but it is not compulsory; if for whatever reason they are not able to attend, children will be expected to attend school as usual. Mr. Monaghan, Mrs Judd and Mrs Heslop will be accompanying the children.

Kit List Comfortable clothing (jeans, leggings tee shirts) Comfortable walking shoes (trainers) A change of clothes for the next day. A water proof coat. Toilet bag and towel. Activity of choice (book, ipad, DS) NO PHONES

Communication All information will be made via the school text messaging service. Remember NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.

Payment This trip is subsidised by the school but we ask for a payment of £30 to be paid to the office prior to the trip.
