Road to Populism Bell Ringer... Take out your homework and write a summary of how what you learned links to the conditions that led to the rise of a populist leader… How will Juan Perón use this to his advantage?

Juan Perón Cited Notes Pick up the handout on Perón and take cited notes. As you work, teacher will continue conferences on the HI paper. Whatever is not finished is for homework.

Juan Perón… (30 - minutes) Work with a partner or individually to complete the chart: Conditions that led to his rise to power Social Programs/Impacts Political Impacts Economic Impacts ***Be prepared to explain if they were successful or failures***

Paper One Tests Go over the Paper One Test handout as a class. What skills are needed to answer the 1st question? What should you do to find similarities and differences for the Compare and Contrast question? Do you need background information on the topic to do a great OPCVL? How should you approach answering the last question?

Juan Perón Practice Document Questions Pick up the Juan Perón Documents handout. Have your notes/handout on Juan Perón out to reference as you read over the documents and answer the questions in your notebook. Be prepared next class...hint-hint...nudge-nudge...
