Standard One: Knowledge of Subject Matter

The visuals for INTASC #1 identifies this standard because they indicate the teacher’s knowledge of connecting mandatory course material to student’s interests. Student teaching artifact- Thanksgiving Math Activity

Standard Two: Knowledge of Human Development

The visuals for INTASC #2 identifies this standard because they represent the various children and ways they learn. Student Teaching Artifact- Use of a visual and Manipulatives to make ten and add.

Standard Three: Adapting Instruction for Individual Needs

The visuals for INTASC #3 identifies this standard because they show the teacher’s understanding of diversity and that every child learns differently. Student Teaching Artifact- Long Division Math Flipbook to support students

Standard Four: Multiple Instructional Strategies
