What happens when Melinda opens her Christmas presents? What happens during the debate in history class? What does Melinda’s appearance look like? How is Melinda ‘coping’ with her isolation? What is she doing? What/who is IT? Any references to metal or to mirrors? Any examples of communicating without speaking?
