Greasers Greasers

Greasers are a group of people who are usually middle class, listen to Elvis Presley and are usually criminals. They started in the 1950’s around the time when Elvis was just getting started. Greasers are famous for there hairstyle, which involves combing back your hair with a lot of wax or hairgel.

The King This was the god of all greasers. His word was law. There entire lifestyle was based on this one famous musician, because to them, he was everything. There hair, clothing, the way the talked and even there personalities were based on him.

Clothes Greasers wore mostly plain white or black t-shirts with leather jackets and blue jeans, but since most of them were poor, sometimes they wore other things.

Greaser Girls Greaser girls are usually “loose” (they have sex a lot). They were slutty clothing, giggle a lot and are basically just prostitutes. When you think of the 1970 you probably think of betty boop or little schoolgirls with bowties. This is completely wrong. Most greaser girls from the 1970’s had sex alot and did lots of drugs. Fun crowd.

Hobbies Most greaser had fights, drag races, did drugs and had sex. Most of there fights were just hand to hand, but they occasionally brought knives or guns. They didn’t usually play organized sports but sometimes just played with there friends.

Views on Life Greasers were usually opposed to anyone with more money or higher social status than them. They called them ‘socs”. The socs and the greasers would always fight each other, because both of them hated each other. The only reason they hated each other was, socs had everything the greasers wanted and listened to the beetles, greasers had different hairstyles, clothing styles and outlooks on life.

Cars Greasers took old cars and pimped them. If they couldn’t have a nice car they make their bad cars look better.
