Scope and Compliance Survey UNSD

Background Para. 20, Minutes of the prelim. meeting: Further, the Committee encouraged UNSD to undertake a benchmark scope and compliance survey in countries to assess the current status of implementation of different environment-economic accounts, priorities and future plans.

Scope and compliance survey Part I – general questions on the types of accounts compiled, future plans, possible uses of the accounts etc. Part II and III short and detailed versions of the module-specific survey for water resource accounts. Refer to document unceea/1/12 The S&C will be sent to statistical office through mail, email, fax, internet The questionnaire will cover a general part of the compilation of environmental accounts and a module specific one covering: MFA, resource specific accounts (water, mineral and energy, forest, fisheries, land, waste,
