Diseases in africa By Jasmin and Damne

CHOLERA Spread by contaminated water African countries have high mortality rate Lack of clean water Fatal if not treated Vaccine helps cure it

MALARIA Malaria is a dieses carried by mosquitoes. Malaria is a fatal disease if not treated About 38.000 African children died

Tuberculosis Air borne disease Mostly in lungs Spreads through air when someone sneezes etc..

Guinea worm This worm is the largest of the tissue parasite affecting humans. When a person drinks contaminated water from ponds or shallow open wells , you will get infected .

Onchocerciasis Onchocerciasis, commonly known as river blindness , is caused by the parasitic worm Onchocerca volvulus. Onchocerciasis is an eye and skin disease. In the human body, the adult worms produce embryonic larvae that migrates though the skin, eyes and etc.

Hemorrhagic fever The term is usually applied to disease caused by Arenaviridae. Hemorrhagic fevers are transmitted by mosquitoes.
