PURPOSE OUTCOME To review Areas of Follow-Up Feedback To reacquaint ourselves to our Action Plan (CANs- Critical Areas of Need) Self- Inventory of current instructional practices related to Areas for Follow-Up Continue implementing current instructional practices to support the Areas for Follow-Up NOTE: Facilitator should walk around and facilitate and support the group once activities begin Time: 1-2 min

SHOW YOUR TRUE COLORS! SAY/MEAN/MATTER FEEDBACK Get into your groups: Area of Follow-Up Groups (#1- #5) from our last meeting Individuals will highlight “feedback doc” (2-3min) Green = Implementing Yellow = Partially implementing Orange = Not implementing Small groups will share-out Green highlights to the entire group (select 1 representative) Small groups share-out their Orange highlights within their small groups Assign a timekeeper Facilitator emphasizes the areas that are highlighted in green are being implemented schoolwide and are ongoing in the WASC Cycle. This activity is a self reflection to help guide our teaching and learning. SAY/MEAN/MATTER FEEDBACK Time: 12-15 min

Ensure all advisory students have participated in college field trips. From your yellows and oranges under Area of Follow-Up #3: Develop CTE (Career and Technology Education) pathways As a small school, collectively decide how these instructional practices will be addressed. FOR EXAMPLE: Ensure all advisory students have participated in college field trips. Guest speakers from industry Project Based Learning Advisory Projects Online career/college planning platforms Discuss as whole group What can our Small Schools doing/going to do to implement Area of Follow-Up #3 ? Those belonging to another Small School, parents, students can still participate and be part of the dialogue and discussion, eventually these commitments/Goals will be shared with all stakeholders so that all members of Small Schools can implement some of this Areas For Follow-UP #3 Time: 3-5 min

The CANs are part of the Action Plan we wrote as a school based on Data (various areas: ie.. Graduation Rates, Redesignation, SBAC, etc..) What does CAN stand for? Critical Area of Need What is CAN 1? 21st Century Student Engagement and Learning What is CAN 2? Academic Support and Proficiency for All Students What is CAN 3? Social/Emotional Needs of All Students Time: 5 min
