Francisco Coronado was a noble men and he hailed from Spain, even though he is a noble man his brother got most of the wealth.
Coronado set out because he wanted fame and the wealth of one of the 7 cities of gold
In 1540 Coronado and his man set off from Mexico to find one of the 7 cities of gold a priest told him about.
The voyage was unsuccessful and Coronado returned to Mexico empty handed.
Coronado was charged for bad leadership and mistreatment of native Indians.
Even though his trip was unsuccessful priests thought it was successful because they thought it was good to spread Christianity to Indians.
