Calculating Value Added The Royal Belfast Academical Institution

G.C.S.E. G.C.S.E. results are compared to the Higher CAT predictions. A score in terms of the difference between grades is assigned.

G.C.S.E. From this the Value Added for each individual pupil can be calculated.

G.C.S.E. In addition to this the Value Added per pupil can be calculated for each department.

A-Level SIMS creates a predicted grade from G.C.S.E. results. SIMS can then be used to calculate the Value Added in relation to this predicted grade for pupils and by department. This can be viewed by following these steps.
