This is why there are guidelines on how to use your logo. “We build awareness of our organization, our values, and our positive influence in all the communities we serve.” p. 20 Joanna: Photos/Imagery (pg 26-27) – what to use and look for photos with some human element in it, hands, silhouettes, faces, not contrived poses, natural, pleasant expressions (not serious/sad). Guidelines are on MiPrintShop site, and on our www.unity.org/testgroup Web page. Joanna: Color of Logo p. 28 PMS 3145, black or reverse to white, use only your new logo release your old logo. You can also use Trebuchet and Times New Roman. Joanna: Circle Mark pg 35 can be used as a stand alone graphic element, generally as a background, screened or Watermark effect, used only as blue, black or reverse to white. Joanna: Taglines pg 35 - use in promotional material, do not use directly underneath the logo/designator instead set it across from the logo to either side with generous amount of space in between. Questions?

Engaging in your process Create a plan “Begin” tab in Participant Toolkit p.41 Come together as a team Divide up responsibilities Look for opportunities to use new logo and share the language from the Branding Map Your name – Did it Change? Talk about it Encourage use of new name Press release p. 48 Kristen Many who’ve been in awhile most likely have a team formed and have regular meetings to create a plan and roll out in your community. Those who’ve just joined may be in the process of forming your team. As you continue to step forward, find what needs to be done and divide the responsibilities to those with the skills and ambition to carry it out. If you look at page 41 it will give you a place to begin: Debbie: Your name – Did it Change? Talk about it Encourage use of new name
