To be able to create a portrait, you must firstly take a look at who you are. This doesn’t mean how you look, but who you are on the inside. Your identity. Easiest way to do this, is to create a personal mind map!

How to create your mind map COLOURS Are you quiet? Shy? Happy? Loud? Who are you? PERSONALITY What colours do you like? What colours do you think represent your personality? YOUR NAME FAVOURITE THINGS Is there anything you love SO MUCH that you must add to your portrait? QUOTE / LYRIC For your FINAL portrait poster, what quote or lyric would you like to add? EMOTION / ANGLE How do you want people to view you? Think about the link between what we will see and how we will feel about you when we view your final portrait. If you’re shy, would your head be down or would you be looking directly out at the viewer? If you’re outgoing, would you be covering you face with your hand?
