Product Overview RecoveryCare II is a short-term nursing facility insurance solution that assists with the financial impact of paying for short-term convalescent care needs. Issue Age: 50-79 Daily Benefit Amount: $50 - $300 Benefit Period: 180, 270 or 360 days Elimination Period: 0 or 20 days Available Riders: 5% Compound Inflation 5% Simple Inflation Home Health Care Available Discounts: Preferred Underwriting 20% Spousal Discount 10% List Bill 5% For authorized agent use only. Built in Benefits Restoration of Benefits Full benefits will be restored if less than Lifetime Maximum Benefit is used for any one stay, up to 2 times the Maximum Benefit. – Available on 180 day Benefit Period Only in TX Bed Reservation Benefits If a client is receiving care in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility and has to be hospitalized, the Company will continue to pay the Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility to reserve accommodations in the facility for up to 21 days per calendar year. Waiver of Premium Once benefits become payable, premiums will not be required to continue coverage. Premium payments will resume upon discharge from the Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility unless the Lifetime Maximum Benefit is paid out. For authorized agent use only. Not for public use. Available Riders Home Health Care This rider will pay up 75% of the Nursing Facility Daily Benefit for expenses incurred for services of a Home Health Care provider. There is no elimination period and benefits will be paid for a maximum of 90 days. After 90 days of benefits, the Rider will terminate. – Not available in PA, MD and RI. Simple Inflation On the first anniversary date of this Rider and on each subsequent Policy anniversary date, we will automatically increase the Maximum Daily Benefit amounts (for Nursing Facility Care, Assisted Living Facility Care and Home Health Care (if elected)). The automatic annual increase will be equal to 5% of the initial Maximum Daily Benefit amounts shown in the Schedule of Benefits and the date of Policy issue. Annual Increases will not be compounded. After 20 years, the amount will remain level at 200% of the original amount issued. Compound Inflation On the first anniversary date of this Rider and on each subsequent Policy anniversary date, we will automatically increase the Maximum Daily Benefit amounts (for Nursing Facility Care, Assisted Living Facility Care and Home Health Care (if elected)).
