Finance Officer (3402) UNCLASSIFIED MOS Status Requesting 7 Warrant Officers to be selected on the FY18 Board Rate 36 officers; 33 on hand, not including 4 pending retirements Need 7 selections to fill the vacancies Prerequisites Must have secret security clearance eligibility Must have previously served in MOS 3432 Must have sustained credibility in 3432 MOS core functions (e.g. military pay, travel, DTS, fiscal, or internal controls) Except for B billets, the applicant should not be serving outside of a Finance Office. Selection must be based on solid 3432 MOS experience in disbursing/finance positions at the auditor level No history of financial improprieties in the last 3 years (e.g. no fraud, larceny, theft, personal financial mismanagement, falsifying financial records, misuse of GTCC, etc…) Must have completed the Advanced Finance Course (AFC) DOD Financial Management Certification for appropriate grade Level 1 DoD FM Certification for Sergeants Level 2 DoD FM Certification for SSgts and above with 2 years in grade Desirable education and experience Completed MCI courses in the areas of accounting, finance, disbursing and/or computers College level courses in accounting, finance, and/or business Hold a Certified Defense financial Manager (CDFM), or other financial certification Deployed experience in 3432 MOS (there is no difference between combat and non-combat) College degree POC CWO4 Jonathan C.
