Unit 6 Essay completion – after school today, advisory and before school – tell Mr. Q when you are coming. I will not be available after school Wed, Thurs or Fri. LT: I can categorize Human Right Violations within the Myanmar Genocide. SC: I know I hit LT when I can use text evidence from an article and the UDHR to write a paragraph that explains which type of right has been violated most in the Myanmar Genocide. Let’s Write a Story- As a class, we are writing a story using our new vocab words. 1 word must be in each sentence… Each group must contribute one or more sentences to the story. Each word must build on the story in the previous sentence – must make sense. Words must be used ‘in context’ Example – word “vocabulary” as a noun Not in context – He has an extensive vocabulary. In this, you don’t really know what vocabulary means. In context – He has an extensive vocabulary and used it to help understand all the difficult words in the poem.
