Room 111 News Friday December 15, 2017 Important dates: Wednesday 12/20: Class Christmas Party! Thursday 12/21: Christmas break begins Thursday January 4th – Send those children back!!!! Friday 1/12: End of 2nd Quarter Important Information: There will not be a spelling test our first week back! We made a stage and characters for the Nativity Story. Your child can help share the story of Christmas and the Holy Family with you by acting out the story. This will be a great way to keep the true meaning of the season! This will be in folders on Tuesday or Wednesday. There is no “official” homework log over Christmas break, but please read and practice math facts at least a few times! It’s so easy for kids to lose new skills even with just a two week break. Thank you for donating to the food drive and priests’ gifts! The students have been focusing on identifying characters, setting, problems and solutions with many Christmas stories! I was not at school today and will not be here on Wednesday the 20th. Unfortunately, I had and have appointments that had to be scheduled. I will be sure to hug the kids on Tuesday. They will know that Mrs. Mampieri will be here on Wednesday.
