The topographic map below shows the elevation of the land around the Nile. Can you identify the "rim" of the watershed? The watershed surrounds the river and all of the tributaries. On the map, draw your estimation of the boundary of the Nile watershed. Using the key provided, note the high points of land surrounding the Nile, the Blue Nile, and the White Nile. Look carefully at the elevation both to the east and west, and around Lake Victoria. Draw an outline connecting the high points. See the PowerPoint Cribsheet for information on drawing on PowerPoint.
