Stoeung Treng Province Flood -2018 Due to the monsoon season and heavy rainfall resulting from Tropical Storm SON-TINH passing over Northern, Central and Southern Laos PDR, the floods flowing from the Sepa- Nam Noi in Attapeu Province, Laos PDR causing flooded and affected the downstream to 4 Communes in 1 District of Stung Treng Province, Cambodia bordering to Lao PDR. Affected Province (1) = Stung Treng ( Bordering to Lao PDR) Affected District (1) = Siem Parng Affected Commune (4) = (1) Se-Kong; (2) Thmor Keo; (3) Santepheap; (4) Prey Sambo Affected Families = 3,074 Evacuated Persons = 1,289 Families (5,619 People) Transported Cows and Buffalos = 2,936 heads Transported Pigs = 2,080 heads Transported Poultry = 5,446 heads Safety Area = 20 Sites

Situation ON July 30th 2018: MRC: According to flood monitoring reports of the Mekong River commission, it is clear that the Mekong river is now quickly raising in the Stoeung treng station. The water level is 10.42 meters on July 29 th 2018 and on July 30th 2018 the water level is 10.75 meters which is 0.33 meter increasing. (The alarm will be activated once the water level reaches 10.7 meters.)
