Presentation transcript:

Using the Answer Booklet PRESENTATION INTRODUCTION The aim of this presentation is to provide users with a guide to using the Answer Booklets. This presentation has been specifically designed to assist teacher leaders to take colleagues through these 3 key menu options. Individual teachers will equally benefit from independently going through the presentation at their own pace. The presentation will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. However, it may take longer with group discussion time added in. It is recommended that you download and print a copy of the slides and notes. You can then refer to the notes with the presentation in Slide Show mode. Go to slide 2

An Answer Booklet is provided for each level. To locate the Answer Booklets click on the Teaching Menu to view Search Option 1 and Search Option 2. Go to Slide 3.

Select the Answer Booklet you need. Select the Answer Booklet level you need. Go to Slide 4.

Open your Answer Booklet. Click on the Answer Booklet to open it as a PDF file. The Answer Booklet files are quite large and may take several minutes to open. Once opened you will be able to view any Answer page, download the file to your computer (recommended) or print one or more Answer pages. Go to Slide 5.

It is recommended you download the Answer Booklet to your computer. There are several options for downloading a PDF file. One option is to right click your mouse and select ‘Save As’. Another option is to click on the icon as shown on the slide and follow the prompts. Go to Slide 6.

Answer Pages show the answers and solutions in red graphics and text. Red text and graphics have (largely) been used to assist students and teachers in viewing answers and solutions. Go to Slide 7.

Answer Pages can be expanded and reduced to fit your screen. Generally, selecting 100% will best enable the Answer Page to fit your IWB.
