Course Information This course is for people wanting to work as assistants to tradespeople in the horticulture industry. You will learn about safe work practices and environmentally sustainable work practices, as well as skills from selected areas, which could include: arboriculture; landscaping; nursery operations; parks and gardens; turf construction; chemical use; irrigation; machinery operations and maintenance; pest management; The purpose of this course is to provide students with the general skills and knowledge required for entry level employment in a primary industries environment.
