Classroom Expectations (Rules) J-Tech Information Technology Mrs. Van Kirk

Entering Class Pick up any handouts, Turn in assignments, get absent work Take your assigned seat Begin work on Bellringer

During Instruction Listen Be attentive, take notes If I need to get your attention, I will say “Ladies & Gentlemen…” When you hear this, stop what you are doing and give me your attention.

During work time If you misuse it, you lose it! Cell phones and other devices need to be in the cell phone hotel. Music may be played – it will be teacher’s choice. NO SLEEPING!

Turn in work – turn in table Turning in Work No actual pass – just write “late pass” on your ONE late assignment. After one, it is 10% off per day late. Turn in work – turn in table

Late Work Examples You forget an assignment on Monday and decide to use your late pass. That assignment is due on Tuesday with “late pass” written on it. You are absent Thursday and we had an assignment due. That assignment is due on Friday when you return to school. If you do not return to school until Monday, it is due then.

Leaving the classroom Fill out your planner, ask me to sign it, and you may leave. I will ask to see your pockets before you leave. No cell phones leave the room with you. Try to take care of business outside of class, but if you need to leave,
