Seventh Grade MUGs Quarter One Week One Daily Language Workouts for mechanics, usage, and grammar

Directions 1. Correct the errors in the sentence by writing your corrected version of the sentence on your paper. These will be kept in your three-subject notebook. 2. Number each MUG. The number will be on the top of the slide. 3. Skip lines between each MUG. 4. Complete each mug in pencil, blue ink, or black ink. 5. We will trade and correct these with a partner. Use a colored pen or pencil to correct your partner’s work. 6. I will collect and grade your notebooks at the end of each quarter.

MUG #1 Athens, a city in greece named after athena, the greek goddess of war and wisdom. In Greek myth, centaurs were half man and half horse apparently, that did not seam totally weird too people back then.

Warm Up #4 Quick Write! Please write about your first week at school. How is everything going? What are you excited about for this year in seventh grade? What are you concerned about for this year? What questions do you have? Respond to any or all of the above questions in a paragraph of at least five complete sentences. You may certainly write more!
