Balla Balla Conservancy

The conservancy is 9300 acres in size and is remotely situated offering excellent game viewing. The bushveld terrain, which is rocky with hills, requires a medium fitness level. Developed over 25 years ago this area now boasts over 450 head of Greater Kudu and other species including Baboon, Black Back Jackal, Gray Duiker, Southern Impala, Warthog, Honey Badger, Bushpig, Mountain Reedbuck, Sharps Grysbok, Klipspringer, Blue Wildebeest, Limpopo Bushbuck, Red Hartebeest, Gemsbok, Common Waterbuck, Greater Kudu, Brown Hyena, Nyala, Giraffe, Leopard and more.

The camp consists of an open plan dining area under a fully enclosed thatched roof which is located overlooking the beautiful mountain range. The dining area is an open plan design, under a fully enclosed thatched roof. The fireplace is at the front edge outside the dining area under the African sky. Guest accommodation in separate luxury chalets with en-suite bathrooms. Each of the three chalets is decorated in an African style, with comfortable bedding and full electricity. The camp was originally built in the late seventies for the heads of state. This camp has all the necessities to ensure a luxurious stay.

Location Balla Balla Conservancy is located in Limpopo Province nestled in the heart of the beautiful Soutpansberg Mountain Range, just North of Louis Tricahrdt town. The reserve is located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, in the heart of the Soutpansberg Mountains. It is just over one hour's drive from Polokwane City to the property. You can fly from Johannesburg which is 300 km north to Polokwane International Airport in Polokwane city. Following the N1 tar road north from Polokwane towards Zimbabwe, past through Louis Trichardt town and turning off at Hendrik Verwoerd tunnels around 20kms passed Louis Trichardt.
