A Brief Introduction to the University of Denver Portfolio Community

The University of Denver Portfolio Community DUPC is a multi-purpose web-based application that supports Electronic portfolios for students, faculty, & staff Program assessment Online discussion forum Group and course portfolios Initiated by the School of Communication faculty with funding from the Sturm Foundation & the CTL Project development assumed by the CTL Faculty Electronic Portfolio Committee established to provide academic direction.

What is an electronic portfolio & why would I want one? A collection of items (papers, curriculum vitae, list of publications, images, etc.) To establish a modern, up-to-date web presence To showcase your accomplishments and interests To facilitate connections with others inside and outside the DU community

What is special about a DUPC portfolio? It is easy to set up and maintain It has a professional look and feel DUPC is searchable You set permissions for items you add to your portfolio
