Launching the Communication Plan Company pre-approval Create a need for change Communicate progress Create positive environment Changes to plan will be made as needed Introduce the plan to the company by including steps that it will take to achieve success. Connect the changes of process to Comcast as a vision, and goal orientated. The second step of the communication plan will consist of clarification of steps, comparative data and job status for the employees, as well as training. Communicating progress, and identifying misconceptions, and rumors that may be evolving. Enthusiasm and motivation is important to maintain a positive environment. Testing the Effectiveness of the Communication Plan Acquire feedback from employees, leaders and customers Data will be accumulated, this will help the teams understand how the changes are affecting the employees, leaders and customers of Comcast. How to Address Negative Responses or Communications About the Change Do not take feedback personally Make sure that negative feedback is clear and understood. One on one communication about Comcast changes. If feedback need more thought, or answers are not available immediately, give a promise of a response within a certain time period. Keep calm and collective thoughts. Don’t Rush. Everyone has a voice. Listen. Respect and consider others perspectives. Will vs.Skill. Provide feedback, use surveys, address negative responses promptly 11/14/2018 (Video, 2009)

Conclusion Communication should be continuous. Communication should include feedback from customers, leaders and employees of Comcast. Communication should provide current information and updates. Communication is the groundwork for organizational change. The key to any organization is communication. This will help all employees and leaders understand the need for the changes, and how to process the changes smoothly. The communication plan will help ensure that Comcast has the best possible service. 11/14/2018
