Internet2 Mission Develop and deploy advanced network applications and technologies, accelerating the creation of tomorrow’s Internet. As you will see, that mission is being realized today. Internet2 is a unique non-profit corporation of more than 200 universities, 60 corporations, and 40 affiliates working to develop a faster, more reliable, more private and secure Internet that enables applications such as really useful videoconferencing, medical training and care, secure access to music and movies, and high schoolers using electron microscopes to investigate unseeable worlds.
