Jidoka, as practiced at Toyota has several meanings. It may mean "automation with human intelligence,"  called Autonomation. Jidoka also refers to the practice of stopping a manual line or process when something goes amiss. Kaizen, Japanese for "change for the better" or "improvement"; the common English usage is "continuous improvement" or "continual improvement”. 8.1 Sistemi za obradu transakcija (Transaction Processing Systems - TPS) Potrošač proverava proizvod pomoću bar kod skenera, na osnovu podataka koji se čuvaju u TPS Note: barkod skener je primer automatskog izvora podataka TPS nadgledaju, prikupljaju, čuvaju i obrađuju podatke prikupljene od svih poslovnih transakcija. Transakcija je bilo koja poslovna aktivnost koja stvara podatke dovoljno vredne da se zabeleže i sačuvaju u bazi.

Način na koji sistem TPS obrađuje podatke Kod serijske obrade (batch processing) organizacije prikuplja podatke o transakcijama i grupiše ih u serije, a zatim ih periodično obrađuje. Obrada transakcija u realnom vremenu (Online Tr. Proc. – OLTP) poslovne transakcije obrađuju čim nastanu.

8.2 IS funkcionalnih celina (Functional Area IS) Informacioni sistemi funkcionalnih celina su dizajnirani da podrže funkcionalne oblasti organizacije povećanjem unutrašnje efektivnosti i efikasnosti u sledećim oblastima: Računovodstvu Finansijama Marketingu Proizvodnom menadžementu (POM) Ljudskim resursima Functional area information systems provide information mainly to lower- and middle-level managers in the functional areas via a variety of reports.

8.3 Sistemi za planiranje resursa preduzeća (Enterprise Resource Planning Systems - ERP) Osnovni cilj ovih sistema je da integrišu planiranje, menadžment i upotrebu svih resursa u preduzeću. Veoma je važna čvrsta integracija. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems integrate the planning, management and use of all resources of the organization. That is, ERP systems are designed to break down the information silos of an organization. Many information systems were developed for specific functional areas and did not communicate with systems in other functional areas. Therefore, these systems are referred to as information silos.

ERP Sistemi (nastavak) Poslovni proces je niz povezanih koraka ili procedura osmišljenih sa ciljem da se dođe do željenog ishoda.

8.4 Sistem za upravljanje odnosima sa kupcima (Customer Relationship Management – CRM) Obuhvata odnos “jedan na jedan” između kupca i prodavca. Jednostavna osnovna ideja: “Svakog kupca tretiraj drugačije.” Pomaže da se zadrže profitibilni kupci i da se maksimizira vreme ukupan prihod koji se od njih ostvari. Customer relationship management (CRM) is an enterprisewide effort to acquire and retain customers. The customer life cycle: engage, transact, fulfill, and support.

Zašto je CRM neophodan? Zato što šest puta više košta prodaja novom potrošaču u odnosu na postojećeg. Jedan nezadovoljni potrošač proširi lošu reklamu na 8-10 ljudi. Ukoliko je stopa zadržavanja kupaca 5%, može se očekivati povećanje dobiti za 85%. Kvota prodaje novim potrošačima se kreće oko 15%, a šanse za prodaju postojećim je oko 50%. 70% potrošača koji imaju primedbe ostaće lojalni u koliko se problem reši.

Primena CRM-a (notes) CRM sistemi imaju primenu u tri najveće funkcionalne celine: Prodaji - automatizacija prodaje (sales force automation - SFA). Marketingu – podrška marketing kampanjama kroz obezbeđenje podataka o izgledima kampanje i podataka o kupcima, informacijama o proizvodima i prodajnim kvotama. Proširuju i mogućnosti unakrsne prodaje, tehnike dodatne prodaje i vezane prodaje. Korisničkom servisu – može imati mnogo Web-based formi. Unakrsna prodaja (Cross-selling) odnosi se na marketing komplementarnih proizvoda kupcima. Tehnika dodatne prodaje (Up-selling) je marketing proizvoda i usluga veće vrednosti novim ili postojećim klijetima. Prodaja u paketu (Bundling) je tip unakrsne prodaje u kojoj prodavac prodaje određenu kombinaciju proizvoda po nižoj ceni nego što bi ti proizvodi ukupno koštali da se kupuju pojedinačno.

8.5 Sistemi za upravljanje lancem snabdevanja (Supply Chain Management Systems - SCM) Lanac snabdevanja je tok materijala, informacija, novca i usluga i obuhvata sve, od dobavljača sirovina, proizvođača i skladišta do krajnjih korisnika. Supply chain management (SCM) je planiranje, organizovanje i optimiziranje aktivnosti u lancu snabdevanja.

8.5 Sistemi za upravljanje lancem snabdevanja (Supply Chain Management Systems - SCM) Interorganizacioni informacioni sistem (Interorganizational information system - IOS) obuhvata protok informacija između dve ili više organizacija. Globalni informacioni sistem je sistem koji povezuje interorganizacione sisteme i povezuju kompanije koje su locirane u dve ili više zemalja.

Struktura i komponente lanca snabdevanja Lanac snabdevanja obuhvata tri segmenta: Do kompanije, “uzvodno” (Upstream) – kada se pojavljuje eksterni dobavljač; Interni (Internal) – gde se obavlja pakovanje, proizvodnja ili sastavljanje; Od kompanije, “nizvodno” (Downstream) – koji obuhvata distribuciju Karike dobavljača – dobavljač može imati jednog ili nekoliko poddobavljača

Generički lanac snabdevanja

Tokovi u lancu snabdevanja Tok materijala – obuhvata fizičke proizvode, sirovine, zalihe i sl. koji se kreću po lancu Tok informacija – sastoji se od podataka u vezi sa tražnjom, otpremanjem, narudžbinama, povraćajima i rasporedima, a obuhvata i promene tih podataka. Tok finansija – obuhvata transfere novca, uplate, autorizacije kreditnih kartica, e-plaćanja i sl.

Problemi u lancu snabdevanja (nastavak) Problemi potiču iz dva primarna izvora: Neizvesnost – predviđanje tražnje; Potreba da se kontroliše nekoliko aktivnosti, internih jedinica i poslovnih partnera. Effekat biča odnosi se na nepravilne promene narudžbina duž lanca snabdevanja.

8.6 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) i ekstranet Elektronska razmena podataka – EDI je standard za komunikaciju koji poslovnim partnerima omogućava da elektronski razmenjuju rutinsku dokumentaciju, kao što su narudžbenice ili fakture. Extranets link business partners to one another over the Internet by providing access to certain areas of each other’s corporate intranets.
