Regions

Regions An area of the earth’s surface defined by a set of characteristics or a single characteristic. A region has boundaries that separate it from surrounding regions

Homogeneous Regions (means the same) Characteristics within this region type are similar; and different from those regions surrounding it. There are 2 types Physical Human

Physical Regions Micro Regions (small) include Niagara Escarpment, Saskatchewan Badlands Macro – Sahara Desert, Western Cordillera, Amazon Rainforest
